White Chrisom Table
330 year old Yew encased in black and white lava coat
Description
The white chrisom table has been created from two slabs of English Yew from the West Sussex downs. The Yew was acquired after it was blown down in a storm in 2011. The tree was approximately 300 years old. After they have been sawn the individual slabs are hand picked and kiln dried for approximately 6 weeks to reduce the moisture content. They are then handcrafted and finished in a black and white lava coat to create a seamless bond & finished piece.
